Systems we install

We install the envelope from the frame outwards: SFS, insulation and cavity barriers, cladding, render, windows and curtain walling. Labour-only, to the manufacturer's details and your drawings.

One wall, five layers

Take the facade apart

This is the build-up we fixed on Limelight, from the frame outwards. Choose a layer to see what it does and which system it belongs to.

  1. Light-gauge galvanised steel studs and tracks, fixed between the floor slabs. It carries the wall and everything fixed to it.

  2. Exterior board fixed to the SFS, with the breather membrane over it. From here the building is weathertight.

  3. Non-combustible mineral wool, with cavity barriers at every floor line and around the openings, so a fire can't run up the cavity.

  4. Brackets and rails fixed back to the frame and set out to the panel layout. They set the ventilated cavity and carry the panels.

  5. The rainscreen face. On Block A at Limelight, Liverpool, our team fixed 1,120 m² of 3D diagonal shaped panels.
