Rainscreen cladding installation
We install ventilated rainscreen facades for main contractors and cladding package holders: brackets and aluminium rails, insulation, cavity barriers and the panels themselves, from flat composite to 3D diagonal shaped panels.
What our installation includes
- Setting out, brackets and aluminium rail or top-hat systems to the system manufacturer's details
- Mineral wool insulation fixed behind the rails
- Horizontal and vertical cavity barriers installed as part of the system
- Panels: metal and composite (ACM), HPL, fibre cement, zinc, copper and standing seam
- Column casings, soffits, fascias, window surrounds and closures
The rails go onto a sealed backing wall, often the SFS infill we install ourselves, and the window perimeters tie into our curtain walling and window work.

On the Limelight student accommodation tower in Liverpool our team installed 3D diagonal shaped cladding panels across 1,120 m² on Block A, with rails, insulation, column casings, soffits and fascias.

Rainscreen cladding: what estimators ask
Do you supply the panels?
We work labour-only: the main contractor or the cladding package holder supplies the system, and we install it to the manufacturer's details and the project drawings.
Can you install 3D or shaped panels?
Yes. At Limelight in Liverpool we installed 3D diagonal shaped panels, where every panel sits on its own rail line and the joints have to read true across the whole elevation.
Do you install the cavity barriers too?
Yes, horizontal and vertical cavity barriers go in as part of the rainscreen system, to the manufacturer's details and the project's fire strategy. Fire sign-off, such as an EWS1 form, is for a qualified fire engineer, not for the installer.
Pricing rainscreen cladding?
Elevations, sections, system details, the bill of quantities and the programme: whatever you have. We price the labour by tender, for the whole envelope or for one system.
