Recladding & remediation installation
We carry out works to non-compliant external walls as the installing subcontractor: removal of the existing cladding and the full new system, including insulation and cavity fire barriers, to the remediation design.
What our installation includes
- Strip-out of the existing cladding, insulation and fixings
- New sheathing, membranes and insulation
- Horizontal and vertical cavity fire barriers
- New rail systems and cladding panels
- Making good at windows, balconies and interfaces
Where the new system is fibre cement boards, the work matches our weatherboard reclads; where it is panels on rails, see rainscreen cladding.
From our projects
Plas y Môr in Burry Port is a labour-only reclad: the old timber comes off, then Siniat board, Tenmat fire barrier, aluminium rails and Hardie Plank panels go on.

Recladding & remediation: what estimators ask
Do you provide EWS1 forms?
No. An EWS1 form is signed by a qualified fire engineer. We are the installer: we carry out the works the remediation design specifies.
What do you need from us to price remediation works?
The remediation design and specification, the elevations, the bill of quantities and the programme. Send them through the tender form.
Pricing recladding & remediation?
Elevations, sections, system details, the bill of quantities and the programme: whatever you have. We price the labour by tender, for the whole envelope or for one system.
